本月的最后一场考试如期结束。据同学们回忆说，口语task1 用中文也说不出来，写作简直无话可说。这是什么情况！还有就是某某考场系统又崩溃了，这又是哪一出戏！不管怎么说，考试不仅考英语实力，还考心态哟，心态不好，约到突发情况也很影响考试呢！

不多说了，照例给大家奉上本次考试的口语&写作真题，小伙伴们可以在留言区补充修正或者是吐槽哦~

口语

Task 1

Your friend went straight to work after high school and skipped university. But now ten years later, he decides to go to university. Please talk about at least one challenge he will face when he goes to university at an elder age.

Task 2

Do you agree or disagree with the statement?

It’s never acceptable to interrupt other people when they are taking.

Task 3

【阅读】close train station

【听力】不赞成（a pity）

1. true: not a lot of people use it, many drive; 但是，还有些人用，学生老师 commute to campus; 同时vacation时，学生会从这个station到其他main station, 如果close掉，只能take cab了。

2. 学生不需要额外的study place. 已经有很多靠近dorm和classroom building的地方了，举例说有24小时开放的，book store里面的café, 都很安静。问题是现在很多同学不知道这些地方的存在，学校应该宣传告诉学生这些地方。

Task 4

【术语】cultural preadaptation

定义：when people migrate, they can use skills they’ve developed in previous environment to adapt to new environment.

【举例】曾经住在southern Russia的farmer，后来来到north America。这两个地方有similar climate—dry。所以对于farming来讲是个challenge。但是，本来在Russia的时候这些farmer已经有dry land technique. 他们知道该怎么种，该种什么，所以到了北美后他们用了同样的farming technique，结果很成功，population flourish了

Task 5

【问题】vacation的时候学校repaint了dorm hall, 所以现在有smell of paint in the air. 而男生sensitive to the smell。他会有headache。

【方案】

1. switch dorm，可以换，领导同意。但一换就得a whole semester, 他只想换couple of weeks. 因为old roommates等都在原来dorm

2. 去住校外uncle的apartment,但是他没车，也没bus line. 只能走，来回一天一小时

Task 6

2 ways birds can cope with strong winds

1. 对于soaring birds—change the position of wings.

Eg.eagle遇到强风时，会收回wing，press tightly for 0.5s, 然后再stretch开来

2. 对于hovering birds—move another part of body to keep balance.

Eg. humming bird.遇到强风，但是还需要fly and eat nectar from flower, hummingbird 会move tail back and forth 来keep in position; avoid being blown out of the wind.

写作

Writing 1

【阅读】advertisement on prescription medications，认为对公众是有害的

1. 医药厂家对于广告的内容是不客观的，通常是突出药物的优势，而不会说缺点，消费者会被误导

2. 经过广告后，药物的销量明显增加，这说明主要是因为人们会误用药物。人们看到广告后，会主动要求医生开具这种药物，而不是听医生推荐

3. 政府对于广告的控制不够，使得有些广告会包含不合法的信息，每个广告播出前政府都应该审核。

【听力】总体来说，药物广告有好处

1. 的确存在广告内容不客观，但是广告只是期待，消费者会自己弄明白药物的作用。比如他们可以去网上查阅资料，和医生讨论药物的好处和风险，形成他们自己对于药物的看法

2. 药物销量增加不是因为误用，而是病人发现了以前不知道的好药。举了例子，nicotine patches对于那些想要戒烟的人来说非常有效，因此广告后大受欢迎，销量增加只是因为人们以前不知道有这样的好药

3. 政府不需要更加严格管控广告，因为如果广告有问题，他们会收到消费者的投诉，如果广告内容非法，公司会受到巨额罚款，因此有理由相信公司会约束自己行为
