以2016年11月的一道真题为例: Which of the following kinds of roommate do you like the most? A friendly, quiet or clean roommate? Explain why. Please include details and examples in your explana-tion.

在考试中，大家只有15秒钟的准备时间，需要迅速地在friendly, quiet和clean roommate中作出选择。建议大家选择与我们生活最接近的点进行拓展。 这里我们以干净的室友为例。首先把题目迅速转换为"why I like living with a clean roommate"。15秒钟很快就过去，大家要在这么短的时间内准备好十分流利的紧扣题目的第一句话，比方说: "I like living with a clean roommate and one obvious reason is that a roommate who likes

mopping, dusting and vacuuming can definitely help keep the dorm looking clean and presentable at all times.”

然后我们就很自然地把话题引入到: "why it s important to keep the dorm clean and tidy"， 于是我们可以回答: "This is really important because the dorm not only serves as a bedroom and a study room,but it sometimes functions as a small meeting place, like somewhere we can throw a birthday party."

此处我们可以对"Why is it important to keep the dorm clean?”进行拓展: "When my roommate and I sort, organize and neatly store the things, we create an orderly space that's welcoming and where things are easy to find."

拓展到此处，我们需要扣题，把话题引入到“我”身上，因为我们要谈的是自己的经历，为什么干净的室友对我很重要。于是我们可以接着这个话题继续说: "For me, this is really important because I love entertaining,throwing parties and get- togethers. When my dorm is clean I am more likely to invite someone over on

the spur of the moment."到此，我们就把45秒钟充分利用完了，我们不仅回答了问题，而且里面又包含了细节和自己的例子，同时还有地道的词汇和有效的句型。

但是问题来了，我们需要怎么练习才能在我们的答案中加入好的词汇和句型呢?我们该如何提高我们的语速和流利度呢?我们该如何提高自己说话的逻辑性呢?答案是Input，输入。我们需要多听Native Speaker发表观点，对于没有外教或者外国朋友的同学来说，我们可以利用YouTube听他们对不同话题发表的看法，阅读他们写的议论文，

看国外的网站、电视和杂志。去学习他们如何讲话，然后把里面好的单词、词组、句子记录下来，形成自己的“素材库”，然后在考试的过程中运用技巧把话题引入到我们的素材库中。对于没有太长时间准备的同学，可以背老师为大家准备的句子，在考试中，运用嫁接技巧进行作答。对于不想学习的考生来说，可以设计一一套专属于自己的模板(不要生搬硬套别人的模板)，然后把自己现有的口语水平发挥出来，但成绩也基本维持在现有的口语水平上。
